Snowed In

Snowed In...what does that really mean? Is it a BAD thing? Is it a chance to Sleep Inn? Clean? Watch movies...or is it simply a pain in the butt. Missing work, not getting paid for it?

Can't get out of my road, living in Rural West by God Virginia leaves not much to the imagination, but alas you have to just deal with it. We've gotten about a foot of snow here at Garvey House, and its really BRRRRR--cold

Its an old house with an old old can I say old again....monstrosity of a boiler...yes people a boiler that emits wonderful warm air--if you can afford the price of heating a 1916 house that is not very well insulated. Its wonderful in the summer as we don't have air and believe it or not don't need it.

Our season starts in April and ends in November...so that means that I have lots of work to do on the property and getting the Inn ready for guests.

Anyone out there Snowed In?
